We are in the process of looking how we can sustain and also develop JRH Auctions during the coronavirus pandemic.
Due to social distancing we are unlikely to be able to offer our traditional sale service run from Hawes Market Hall, so we are looking to place a greater emphasis on our online presence to help us through these challenging market conditions.
Initially we will look to adapt our website to be able to offer our vendors a way to continue to sell their items, this will be achieved by incorporating a third party service, ie The Sale Room, eBay etc. We will offer a full collection and cataloguing service to vendors and a courier and delivery service to buyers.
To overcome the issue of buyers not being able to view lots in advance, we will be taking more detailed photographs, along with more information on lots and the inclusion of estimates to ensure greater information is available for each lot offered for auction.
We will be looking to organise our first online only auction in due course and invite entries in the following categories:
Sundaries
Jewellery & Watches
Gold & Silver items
Coins, Stamps & other small collectable
